Statement of teaching and research interests:

Dr. Banerjee’s research spans education policy and social policy issues. Her research in education policy focuses on topics such as school culture, teacher racial diversity, teacher job satisfaction, teacher collaboration and professional community, teacher unions, intergovernmental relations, and student outcomes in public schools in the U.S. Her research in social policy covers topics such as education, diffusion of information, and demographic outcomes. She primarily teaches in the Public Administration (MPA and DPA) and Organizational Leadership programs.
